FERDINAND HORVATH







These images are from the great Ferdinand Horvath who was an amazing character designer. His drawings are really funny and have that great Disney charm and construction. I'll keep posting more of these.

those gnomes on the top are really cool. Were they ever used for anything?

I think they were for the 7 Dwarves but I might be wrong. A lot of these designs are character development and experimentation.

Yeah the bears are the best. Each has a different design formula based on varied big shapes.

Yeah Pedro, You nailed it right on the head. It's about the big shapes and contrast! And they are almost all funny drawings.
